Rocky Horror Picture Show Costumes For Women - Magenta And Columbia

There are many characters in the Rocky Horror Picture Show but there are a few that really stick out amongst all the others. Those four are Columbia, Riff-Raff, Magenta and the most popular character of them all the lovely Frank-N-Furter. What these four characters likewise have in common is they all have costumes that are made and ready to sell for any of the fans that are seeking to dress up. Some people prefer to make their own but for those of you who are too busy or wouldn't know where to begin I'll discuss the Magenta and Columbia Costumes.

A very colorful and very strange character indeed. I suppose Columbia is really no more or less bizarre than the other main and supporting character in the show. For me the tap dancer outfit just sticks out. Make this a morbid couples costume by having your boyfriend dress up as the Eddie character. May seem a bit strange but we care talking about Rocky Horror Picture Show Costumes here.

I attend Rocky shows with friends all the time and the one thing about the Columbia costume that sticks out in my hand is that it is a costume that works great if you add your own personal touch to it. Switch out the hat for an actual top hat and color it gold.

This leads me to Magenta and something similar struck me if a friend of mine dressed up as her one year. The person that effectively pulls off this costume is someone who adds their own personal touch to it too. This is a very, very simple costume to make so you want to be certain you stand out as opposed to blending in. Take the basic elements of the outfit and craft your own style based on something in the movie.

My friend was able to pull off the Magenta costume quite nicely using this simple formula. By taking the basic design and adding her own style to it she crafted a perfect costume for her. If you do the same you're guaranteed to make yourself happy.
