Why not give it a try just for the heck of it. Once you've started incorporating raw foods into your food plans, keep adding them in and reducing the number of cooked and processed foods from your diet. This particularly goes to food like chips, fast food, snacks, and cookies.

If you've done that for a while, you can have a junk food day. If you're missing your junk food, then go ahead and plan for it. You can make your day junk worthy and memorable. Mid-way through your junk food day, it is very likely that you'll stop.

Junk food won't have the same appeal to you once you've started incorporating raw foods in your diet and stuck with it for at least a week. You've become more health conscious and you're thinking about what you're putting in your body. If you think about what junk food can do to your body, then its appeal to you will surely be lost.

You know, it just happens naturally. You wouldn't go near things like hamburger or chicken once you start eating more raw foods. Feeling strongly about not eating animals may even be a possibility. And what about those warnings about handling chicken that are bought in the grocery store? Or ground meat? It's recommended that you wash your counters with BLEACH if you've prepared meat on them. Is putting something in your body that needs bleach in order to clean germs from your home sound appealing? Nope, if you see chicken, maybe now you'll think of the germs. Flavor isn't even lacking. So why bother?

The junk food you once loved may not be as appealing anymore. Remember nachos and cheese? Do you want to put that processed cheese in your body which is made of corn syrup and fats and chemicals? Just looking at it makes you feel like your arteries are grinding. You can even cut out the dips and just enjoy the fresh taste of the fruits and vegetables.

There's nothing better than the smell of warm, fresh bread right out of the oven. Rather than spending hours in the kitchen, most cooks now use bread machines such as the Panasonic SD-YD250 to create delectable breads, pizzas, cakes and cookies.
