The brilliant Toy Story franchise and movies, particularly the wonderful Toy Story 3 movie this year has introduced some of the most memorable and extraordinary characters of all time, with the help of Disney and Pixar, and because of these great characters, have giving us excellent Halloween and fancy dress party options and ideas, an awful lot to be precise, which is great for any parent on the look out for a unique costume for their child.

There are a couple characters from the movie that are recognizable to just about everyone. If the first movie hit the big screen, children and adults all over the world would watch it over and over. Now, in its third installment, more children and adults know the characters of the film.

With a vast amount of great characters, there is one unique Toy Story character who deserves to be at the top this Halloween, and that is Sarge the Green Army Man. Sarge and his Bucket o' Soldiers are the highly trained and disciplined "Leave no men behind" band of brothers, professional soldiers, all in green for duty, and had a great part to play in the first two movies and a small part at the start of the excellent Toy Story three movie.

The Sarge Army Man character is voiced by R Lee Ermey and is loosely based on the character Ermey played himself in the brilliant movie Full Metal jacket. Sarge the Green Army man makes an excellent costume, perfect for any energetic young boy, and the great thing about these costumes, they can come in a very cute toddler size to all other child sizes, including a cool all green jumpsuit, helmet, boot covers and hood, and with some green face paint, makes this costume truly outstanding looking, a real boys costume, just as I would have loved if I was a boy, many years ago.

It doesn't matter whether you pick Hamm, Sarge, Mr. Potato Head or Bo Peep, you'll surely have a great time at your costumed event. Remember, why not be yourself instead of like everyone else by standing out in your one of a kind Toy Story costume? The Toy Story character you choose doesn't matter nearly as much as the attitude you bring with it!
