Forget all about the “How” and the “What” for now.  Toss aside your would-be results.  Concentrate and focus like a laser beam on your “Why”.  Your “Why” is your purpose, your inner core beliefs, and it is a driven passion of yours.  Don’t focus on a particular product or service.  People don’t buy into what you do; they buy into why you do it.  People don’t buy into your “unique selling proposition” that does not mean a hill of beans to them.  People buy into why you do what you do.

You should have one top priority in your business or cause, which trumps any other business goals that you have.  The number one goal should be not to do business with people that want your product or service, but rather do business with people who believe what you believe.  It creates loyalty and trust.  If you talk about what you believe (your “Why”) you will naturally attract people who believe what you believe.  What you do exemplifies what you believe.  If you don’t really know why you do what you do, how will you get people to be loyal and be a part of what you do? 

In summary I suggest you read this article over and over again to comprehend the enormity of its message.  It is not what you do; it is why you do it, which will attract liked minded people, which will nurture loyalty, trust, and inspire action.  I strongly suggest you Google Simon Sinek and view some of his videos. I have given you a brief synopsis of Simon’s ideology.  You may also want to read his book titled “Start With Why”.  Remember if you want to inspire action, begin with your “Why”.

Acronyms in documentation
Current professional documentation reflects the ever increasing use of acronyms and abbreviations. A recent survey shows that 94% of documents contain acronyms and abbreviations.
In highly technical areas we use numerous acronyms and due to time constraints they are often not properly managed.

Rules for Acronym usage in documents
Define the acronym when it is first used. The first instance of the acronym should be immediately followed by its definition (abbreviation) in brackets. For example: GPS (Global Positioning System). This enables the reader to better understand the meaning of technical terms.
Define all proprietary and industry-related acronyms.
It is not necessary to define common acronyms such as laser, radar, sonar etc.
Do not treat company names as acronyms, for example AMD, MS, IBM etc.
An acronym should be defined only once.
Avoid using the same acronym with different definitions in the same document. For example: AWACS can be "Airborne Warning and Control System" or "Airsoft Warfare and Combat Squad".
Provide an List of Acronyms and Abbreviations (or glossary of terms) at the beginning or at the end of the document.

What led to so many foreclosures at first was a series of poor decisions, a lack of oversight, and, essentially, greed beyond any acceptable proportion within the entire housing industry, from real estate agents to mortgage brokers and all of the other cogs in the wheel in between. It was a reality check that sparked a major downturn in the industry.

Unemployment driving the industry down further

As so many factors contributed to the Great Recession, housing was just one part of it. Now, if we listen to the politicians on their weekly radio addresses or going on daytime television to tout their agendas and to promote the successes that they’ve had so far, it would appear as though the entire economy has turned a corner and is actually on the mend.

In fact, it has been stated on more than one occasion that productivity in this country has risen. Yet people continue to be without work as employers are reluctant to hire new workers to fill vacancies left behind when the recession hit. This has left many people, who had initially had savings accounts and such to cover their expenses for six months, a year, or even more –with the help of unemployment insurance that has been extended time and time again- to manage to keep up with their mortgages.

But at some point, these homeowners found themselves in a situation that wasn’t improving and they could no longer keep up with their mortgage payments. Many of these homeowners turned to modification attempts, even those promoted and touted by Washington, but to no avail and they had no other option but to face down foreclosure.

The ripples in the water

While some metro areas, such as Las Vegas, seemed to transition seamlessly from a foreclosure crisis driven by toxic mortgages to one driven by unemployment, the ripple effect that the situation has left can be felt throughout those regions and into the suburbs as well.

The housing industry, as a national construct, feeds off regions closest to its own. While toxic mortgages were a finite problem, meaning that at some point, all of the homeowners that were in troubled mortgages, who couldn’t afford them in the first place, would eventually be shaken from the tree, the same cannot be said for those that are unemployed.

Until unemployment diminishes with some meaning and even vigor (remember, the national unemployment rate, which currently stands at 9.5%, does not measure those individuals who are no longer collecting unemployment insurance or those that have given up their search for gainful employment), then the housing industry will continue to see foreclosures in most regions throughout the country, especially the metro regions. Of course, if the unemployment rate remains unchanged for the foreseeable future –meaning that it doesn’t deteriorate even further- then at some point the foreclosure rates will begin to level off and then diminish themselves.

Until that happens, however, there will continue to be major hardships that lie ahead for just about everyone within the housing industry. These foreclosures will most likely drive home prices even further down in these already depressed regions.

There are two main reasons you're slicing the ball;

1. The clubface is open to the path its travelling at the moment of impact.

2. You're swinging from outside-to-inside.

This article will give you a few simple tips to fix your slice. To fix your golf slice you need to;

1. Square the clubface

2. Swing on a nice square inside path.

Tip #1 Check Your Grip

Slicers of the ball tend to have a weak grip - meaning that the clubface is free to move open.

Ensure that your hands aren't turned too far left on the grip. To get the right grip position ensure that the Vs formed by the index finger and thumb on both hands points to your right ear.

Also when you look down you should only be able to see two knuckles of your left hand.

Tip #2 Fix Your Out-to-In swing path

If you're slicing the ball you're swinging too much from the outside in, this causes your slice. The swing path that will give you the straightest shots is an inside-square-inside swing path. The key is to stick to this inside-to-inside swing path as much as possible in the swing.

A good drill to develop a good feel for the inside square swing path is to set two tees opposite each other, about six inches away from one another. Place your ball in the middle of the tees now practice hitting the ball in the middle swinging through the tees.

If you hit the tees then you're swinging too much from the outside. Keep practising until you can hit the ball without making contact with the tees. This drill will get you used to swinging on an inside-square-inside path.

Tip #3 Squaring the Clubface

You have worked on fixing your out-to-in swing path. To fix the slice you need to work on both your swing path and your open clubface.

You want to ensure that your clubface is square at impact. The easiest way that you can get the clubface square at impact is to simply square the clubface at address and then keep it square throughout the entire swing.

You see it's much easier to bring the club back through with a square clubface if it was already square on the backswing. If your clubface is open or closed then you have to compensate by flicking the wrists over at impact, this doesn't work, not only do you slice the ball but you also lose a lot of power.

So remember - clubface square at address, on the backswing, on the downswing and then it's much easier to hit the ball with a square clubface.

There are several factors that come into play when home buyers are looking into the market and planning on making a purchase. Of course, although the home buyer tax credit is an impressive incentive and one that has helped the housing market stabilize and show life in recent months, it isn't cause for everyone to run out and purchase a home before April 30th.

Nor is the fact that the Federal Reserve plans to cease buying mortgage-backed securities on that same date. This program, as many mortgage brokers and real estate agents understand, has managed to keep interest rates at near record low levels to encourage real estate purchases. Coupled with the fact that the FHA will increase the insurance premiums that it charges for mortgages that it ensures, it appears at first glance that perhaps the time is running out for home buyers to purchase a home and save thousands of dollars in the process.

Yet, despite all of this information, the answer to this question is a definitive no. Time is not running out for home buyers, regardless of the factors presented here. It's never a good idea to rush into buying a home, regardless of the incentives, deadlines, or rates. At the time of this article's publication, there are signs across the country that housing prices will continue to fall this year and into the early part of 2011. Depending on the location and the amount of the decrease, a home buyer could potentially make up for these financial incentives with a great deal on a home. They could, in fact, cancel out the effects of the aforementioned factors.

Another point to consider when discussing the time limits on buying a home has to do with a home buyer's credit score as well as their personal financial situation. For those individuals who have less-than-ideal credit scores or limited financial resources, then it may be best to wait a year or two before purchasing a home. The money they may save with the home buyer credit or low interest rates would readily be negated by higher points on their mortgage. Add to that the FHA increase, which could potentially add another half a point to their monthly payments, and this indicates that it would be best to wait to buy a home.

If a home buyer is in a positive position to buy now, if their credit score is above 720 and they have 20% to put toward a down payment, then the time is certainly right to make a purchase now, and yes, the time will be quickly running out to take advantage of these incentives, but it doesn't mean that they are out of luck if they miss the April 30th deadline.

Markets throughout the United States will remain soft for some time, even though they appear to be bottoming out. Another glut of foreclosures is expected in the coming months that will help drive down prices some more. Some areas could expect to see a decrease of 50-10 percent more in 2010, which would make up for missing out of the tax credit and low rates.

Buying a home, for most people, is the single largest investment they will ever make and it's not something that should be rushed. The best advice to offer clients looking for a home is to forget about the April 30th deadline and instead focus on making the best decision for their family and their finances. The real estate market will continue to be a buyer's market for several years, so getting the right deal, and the right home, is the most important factor in any home buying decision.

Time is not running out to buy a home and get a great deal; it's only just beginning.

“Honesty is the best policy”.  Trust is the cornerstone of honesty.  You must truthful and transparent.  Your truthfulness should begin within you.  “To thine own self be true” as stated by William Shakespeare.  If you are truthful with yourself it is not difficult to be truthful with others.  Being honest is stating the complete truth and not stating a part of it.

Being committed requires one percent effort and follow-up. It is futile to begin a worthwhile task or project and not continue to work on until its completion.  It is a waste of your time and extremely unfair to other depending on you.  It is a waste of your precious time as well as others.  If you “talk the talk, then you must walk the walk”.

Tsavo East is branded “theatre of the world” while Tsavo west is known as “the ancient land of lion and lava”. The twin National Parks of Tsavo East and West together form one of Africa’s largest wilderness reserves. This single National Park is larger than the island of Jamaica. Of all the point of attraction in this majestic reserve, Mzima springs are not to be missed.  These natural springs produce 50 million gallons of fresh sparkling water daily. These waters are alive with shoals of barbell, Hippopotamus and waterfowls. A female louse can lay between fifty and one hundred and fifty eggs during her lifetime, a lifetime which lasts about thirty five days. The eggs (nits) will hatch producing a nymph after seven to ten days. Over the next twenty odd days the nymph will moult in three stages and grow into an adult louse. The adult louse begins pairing with its mate just hours after becoming an adult louse. And with this cycle begins a new family unit of head lice and nits. The head lice life cycle can continue until the infestation becomes very heavy, and possible very irritable for the child.

To resolve a head lice infestation it is important to apply a treatment and comb the hair thoroughly from root to tip. Treatments available on the market today are designed to suffocate and effectively kill the head lice. The egg shell isn’t penetrated by the head lice treatment which is the reason thorough combing is so important. Even after the nymph has hatched the shell of the egg remains firmly attached to the hair shaft. The egg shell will eventually disintegrate but this can take months, generally it will need to be physically removed.

Cover the hair and scalp completely with the head lice treatment and massage in for approximately five minutes. Leave as directed on the label and, if desired for ease of combing, apply a conditioning or combing solution to help detangle any knots.
Using a fine tooth comb, divide the hair into four centimetre sections and begin combing. Wipe any head lice and eggs off the comb and on to a tissue.  Concentrate on areas of the scalp behind the ears and towards the back of the neck as the head lice eggs are generally laid here about one centimetre from the scalps surface. (The eggs are an off white colour and can sometimes be mistaken for dandruff). This process can take some time depending on the length and thickness of the hair. It is possible that some nits may be left behind after the treatment and it is recommended that you repeat the treatment process about a week after the initial treatment. This will tackle any undetected hatchlings and put an end to the cycle.

Head lice cannot jump or fly, they are transmitted by direct human contact. You should ensure that part of your routine is to check for head lice in your children’s hair regularly – once a week is ideal. Use the same method as the treatment combing detailed above with a fine tooth comb, apply a conditioning solution to help detangle knots and make combing a little easier. A conditioning solution can actually slow the head lice down allowing you to easily see where they are.

Couple that with the fact that it has become much more challenging to qualify for a mortgage, and millions of would-be home-buyers are deciding to sit on the sidelines as they wait for some certain sign of stabilization. It is quite ironic, really, that what was once a dreaded option a few years ago –to pay rent rather than a mortgage- has become the more appealing option for many.

A balance is needed

During the Clinton and Bush Administrations, the mantra that was touted was of home ownership. Many politicians even equated home ownership with a patriotic duty and the federal government took great lengths –through Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac- to help people, even those that couldn’t, or shouldn’t, get a mortgage to actually acquire one.

The climate has certainly changed. During the past year, testimony on Capital Hill has been about the need and necessity of balancing home ownership with renting. One of the great lessons that the industry, and more importantly, the politicians, has learned is that not everyone should own a home. Balance is important in any outlet in life and the housing industry is no different.

Without enough renters, there will be no need for many of the homes, condos, and apartments that exist. When there aren’t people enough to rent, then homes sit unused. Depending on the neighborhood, this can actually prove to be quite catastrophic. In a depressed neighborhood, without renters, empty properties can become vandalized, lawns would be neglected, and the cancer would spread around it, driving prices down for actual homeowners in the neighborhood.

Renting to get through the quagmire

Home ownership should still be the American Dream, but there needs to be some measure of symmetry between the two. For potential home-buyers who are uncertain about the market, who don’t know whether their market with rise or continue to fall, then renting can actually be the best option.

Halloween originated back in the days of the ancient Celtic races of Ireland, Scotland and Wales when on the 31st October the boundaries between living and dead were thought to dissolve giving the dead and gone the opportunity to create havoc for the living by making them ill or ruining their crops. In order to prevent the dead from doing this the ancient Celts used to dress up in scary costumes that were supposed to imitate the dead in order to placate them, so there you have it, the origins of the very first scary Halloween costume.

In more recent years however Halloween costumes have taken on the form of representing movie characters, TV personalities and famous celebrities.  Michael Myers played the central character in the film Halloween which was made way back in 1978 and was the slasher serial killer that murdered his big sister and wore a horrific mask and blood stained boiler suit as he went about his grisly business, killing as many people as he could lay his hands on.

So you can see, playing the central character in a really scary movie with the name of the film being the very event being celebrated had to put his character in a prime position for a favorite Halloween fancy dress costume.

But what of Michael Jackson, well apart from being one of the most famous celebrities ever he also produced 'Thriller' the biggest selling album of all time and for which the supporting video is all about the living dead, zombies and ghouls, the very essence of Halloween. On You Tube alone, the video for Thriller has been viewed at the time of writing over 69 million times. This is just one of the many achievements of Michael Jackson the legendary King of Pop.

Seems pretty fitting to me then that on the 31st October this year that there will probably be more Michael Jackson's  running around than any other costumed film character or celebrity, he sort of has a tradition to keep up.  A little ironic that his return to popularity is due to a large extent on his passing and even more ironic that if you do choose his mask you will be doing exactly what the ancient Celts did.

I know what your initial reaction to that statement will be. At least if you’re like most common-sense-thinking people. You’re sitting there thinking, ‘Duh,’ right? Don’t get a mortgage you can’t afford. Who would think that anyone, anyone, would need to be told that? And what’s more, who would have even considered that an industry that makes money on interest paid back on loans would have to be spoon-fed that same idea? Ten years ago few, if any, of us would have even taken that comment seriously.

We would have laughed at the preposterous of its audacity. Yet there it is. And it is one of the many factors that contributed to the collapse of the economy and the real estate market during these past three treacherous years.

Predatory lending

We’re not going to get into the moral or ethical debate about predatory lending, but at its basic core, it was based on approving mortgages for individuals and families who simply couldn’t afford it. There have been reports during the past couple of years about people without jobs, without proof of much more than the fact that they were alive and breathing, were being approved for mortgages.

No job? No prospects? No savings? No problem.

I mean, think about that for a minute? Why in the world would anyone, and entire industry for that matter, allow this to go on?

I’ll tell you: greed. The housing boom was great. It was incredible. Everyone from realtors to mortgage brokers and lenders were raking in profits left and right. Banks and lenders will have to thoroughly verify that applicants will be able to make payments before any mortgage is approved.

If this aspect of the bill (and I say aspect because there are others that will be up to independent debate that affect other aspects of the financial world) bothers your sense of capitalism, then you may want to either rethink your philosophy or seek another career path moving forward.

But how much will this change cost?

Ah, but the question here is how much this change will cost the average home-buyer. For one, getting a mortgage is going to take more work, and more time. Lenders will be more tight-fisted with their loans. And in any economic model, more time means more cost.

Yes, mortgages will end up costing more money for the borrower because of the increased workload to approve and finalize the terms. Of course, the effects of this bill won’t be immediate. It may take up to 18 to 24 months before the regulations go into effect. So, in the meantime, it might be a good idea to motivate potential home-buyers to save money and get their dream home now.

Having said that there is no initial earnings level before you pay tax, as soon as you earn you pay, doesn't really seem that fair for those that only manage to generate a modest amount of business but overall it is a better option than the previously enforced payment on assumed earnings that I mentioned earlier.

There are limitations on the new system, for instance your business must turn over less than €80,000 per year gross if you are selling products or providing catering and/or accommodation.

if you are providing a service, like website design or soft furnishings make up (but not supplying materials) then the turnover must be below €32,000 per year.

Tax can be declared and paid on a monthly or quarterly basis and the rate of tax is either 12% for those reselling products and 21.3% for those selling services (in simple terms). This is under the 'micro-social simplifie' system.

For the 'micro-fiscal simplify' system the percentage of turnover is 1% for those reselling products and 1.7% for those selling services.

So to cover your social and tax charges combined, resellers would pay a total of 13% and service providers would pay a total of 23%

So when spidering the site the primary method for finding all the pages included and establishing the contents of the pages is by reading the text on the site.

There are ways and means of overcoming this problem. For example a site map containing information that describes all of the pages of interest to the search engine can be submitted to the search site so that listed pages are included in their index; this is rather than relying on the search engines finding the pages for themselves. There is a protocol that has to be followed for a site map to be accepted; but this is not particularly difficult to achieve.

You can use what is called the 'alt' tag to provide descriptions of any images included in the content of your site. There are other reasons for doing this, irrespective of SEO, to ensure design standards are met in general.

There are also techniques that can be used to create navigation systems that can look equally as impressive as some of the script driven methods, but are text based and consequently search engine friendly.

Meta Tags

As a final word on this subject, make sure that your designer also understands the use and implementation of meta tags. This is information included in the header of the website page that for the most part is invisible to visitors but serve the purpose of providing instructions to search sites to help them understand how to deal and interact with your website.

There are a number of versions of Dreamweaver available but they all effectively perform the same or similar functions. It is a professional HTML editor for designing, coding and developing websites, web pages and web applications. The application offers 2 design environments in which to work, the code view and the design view. You can also select a 'split' view that lets you see both the code and design views simultaneously.

The design view (visual editing features) allows you to very quickly create web pages without the need to write the associated code that lies behind the design, Dreamweaver takes care of this on your behalf. You can drag in and position the various page elements from an adjoining panel and streamline the development work flow by creating and editing images in third party graphics applications such as the aforementioned 'Photoshop' or Adobe's 'Flash' program.

What you will find in practice is that although you can in theory design a website completely from the design screen that you will in fact combine both functions to produce your designs more effectively i.e. typically the basic design is drawn together using the visual editing features and then the coding view is used to fine tune your design to complete the final details. From my experience, it is likely that as you become more familiar with the program that you will find yourself utilising the coding functionality more and more, particularly for managing the pure code aspects of the design such as CSS functionality (cascading style sheets).

Photoshop also comes in many versions and forms, but again the basic functionality is very similar for the different versions. Photoshop allows you to configure and manage static images such as digital photographs or generated images that you may have created within the program. One of the key benefits of Photoshop is that it is relatively easy to use and has been developed with website integration in mind. You can create and save files for the web, reducing resolution for fast loading on the Internet whilst retaining the quality of the image to a level where the differences to the original file are for all intents and purposes indiscernible.

It goes without saying that in order to benefit from any of the programs mentioned, any budding web designer should consider taking a web design course to at least get the basics sorted out. My recommendation would be that any courses that are undertaken would include what I consider to be the two core industry standard software packages mentioned and ideally would also include a basic course on the use of Adobe's 'Flash Program'.

There are also many free courses and lots of information on the Internet to cover almost every topic, including website design, and once you are past the basic principles and standard practices stage of your development you will find that these courses plus practical experience will prove invaluable for further development of your design skills.

Getting a great domain name will take a bit of effort but there are tools available to help you find the right name and to check it's availability.

There are also do's and dont's in domain name selection which will help form the basis of putting the name together.

The Do's

    * Make it easy to spell and hard to get confused
    * Easily pronounced with spelling that ideally can only be done one way
    * Easy to remember, usually that means short and succinct
    * Can be used as a brand name

The Don'ts

    * Use suffixes that are hard to remember, .com is the favorite and is what nearly everyone looking for your domain name will guess at, other options are becoming more popular however, so shouldn't be ruled out entirely. Especially if you are interested in a suffix that represents the country you operate in.
    * If possible don't use multiple dots, hyphens or underlines to break up your domain name, people find this hard to remember. That said, the single use of these can work sometimes, so it is a judgment call where you consider whether by using them you can use the exact wording you want versus the downside of people having to remember where they are in the address when searching for your site.
    * Use words that end and start with the same letter, unless you decide it is worth dropping in a hyphen (reference my comment above) e.g. personalloans.com could have a hyphen, dot or underscore placed between the first and second word.

In order to sort out a great domain name it is worth enlisting the help of a few friends, people who understand the concept of brainstorming and who have a natural ability with words, just sit down with them and get creative.

Make a short list of potential names say about 15 to 20 and then use a domain registration website to see what is available. Remember that what you are trying to put together is one of your most important keyword phrases that will get traffic to your site. So make sure you have researched what people enter into search engines when looking for your website theme, service or business. It is also worth remembering that the name you come up will need to be communicated verbally and in written text so if it is easy to pronounce, spell and read, people are more likely to recall it.

You also need to consider where geographically you want to do business and target your website to those locations and in the language relevant to those locations. It may even be worth including the location in the name if it can be done effectively and doesn't become to unwieldy i.e. putting UK, FR, or USA as part of the name if appropriate could make a big difference to focusing on the right audience and get the visitors to your site that are truly interested in what you are offering.

Its possible to start an online business completely free of charge and it can be done on a part time basis. You never know these days just how long your job is going to last or how safe you are in employment and it pays to have a contingency plan; especially one that will cost you nothing and can be started in your spare time.

If you do the groundwork and put in a bit of effort building up an online business you can make money online and potentially much more than you ever could in an ordinary job. Also the difference between a 9 until 5 job and an Internet business is that, once the business is set up, it can operate in your absence and will be potentially earning you money 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 52 weeks a year; the Internet never sleeps.

With some systems, if you utilise the right tools and introduce people into that system there are ways that you can get a small commission from the work they do, introduce enough people and you can even build a reasonable income outside of your own efforts.

In fact I would recommend that you take this approach because that way your interest will remain keen and you will not run out of ideas.

Remember, there are no constraints, you are in control and you can put in as much or as little effort as you like.

I am not going to kid you, to make money at home through your own online business is going to take effort and the rewards in the beginning will be small. But as your online presence increases and you get more websites and blogs in place, the rewards will come. You just need to do the research and use the right methods.

So what are these alternatives, well the first option is to get involved in affiliate marketing or Internet marketing as it is often referred to. Once this is agreed you can place adverts for the products and services they supply on your websites or blogs. One little word of warning however, never be tempted to click on your own PPC ads or ask family or friends to do this, because this would effectively be fraud and with companies as sophisticated as Google they will be sure to recognise it as unusual activity, will refuse to pay you and you will be kicked off the program.     * make the background colour of your ad the same colour as the background colour of your hosting page for the position you place it in.
    * make the text colour of your ad match the text colour and style of the text for your site
    * make the links for your ad the same as the link style of your site links, i.e. link, visited, hover and active as much as possible, the same
    * it's better not to use a border on the ad, but if you do, then choose a colour to match your site colours
    * the larger ads work best and there are optimum sizes you can select

This is indicating quite clearly that the general idea is to make your Google Adsense ads blend into the style and colour of your site for best results. This sort of suggests that there is a natural aversion to clicking on something that is clearly an advert. So by making the advert blend into the site so that it appears as just another familiar source of information contained within the site content you are more likely to gain a click through to the ad itself. This is after all the whole point of the exercise from the publisher's perspective.

With respect to the positioning of the advert:

    * the ads need to be above the fold
    * the best position to place your primary ad is just above your page content, after which
    * the top left hand corner or under the nav bar (horizontal nav bar)
    * then just after your content above the footer bar
    * you can also place ads in your content, generally on the LH side works best

These are your placement options, but this does not mean that you should try and use all of them. There are rules anyway that prevent you placing too many adds.

There are different types of ads which you can use in combination and sometimes combining the different types of Adsense ads can give you maximum exposure. But you do need to think about what will turn your visitors off; sometimes less is more.

Stop and think about your visitor, why they are visiting your site and where they might focus their attention. Then try and make the ads compliment your site and add to the visitors experience, rather than get in the way and clutter up the page.

The best way in the end of finding out what works best, is to experiment with your ads in terms of colours, sizes and position to find out what really suits your visitors. Also don't be afraid to change if you find after time that the click through rate drops off again, what might be good one period can change in the next affecting your Google Adsense revenue.

So how do they do this, well first of all you need to research exactly what it is that blogging is all about. So as an aside, using a third party domain, such as the Google blogs for instance, are fine under certain circumstances, but having your own domain name and promoting that is in my opinion a better option; because you get to add value to something you own. Rather like fitting a new kitchen in a rented home versus fitting a new kitchen in a home you own yourself.

There are lots of other ways of earning from your own blog, using Google AdSense to get Google cash is probably one of the most popular. You sign up with Google and they place adverts on your blog that relate to the subject you have written about, hence the need to stay on a subject, when the add is clicked on you make a small commission, this method is called pay per click.

Joining affiliate programs is another way, plenty of affiliate programs out there that will be happy to let you market their products and pay you a commission if you send a buyer to their websites, in this case you only get paid if they buy something, this method is called pay per action.

Some people write useful information and guidelines and create ebooks that they sell on their blogs or alternatively they may have products or services that they sell using their blog as the marketing tool. This is called direct marketing and either sends you to their business website or as is often the case these days the blog is set up as their only online presence and the products are made available directly from the blog.
