Edible wedding favors are bound to please almost everyone at a wedding reception. You can of course provide savory favors which can be novel but the vast majority will prefer something sweet. I haven't come across many people that won't eat chocolate in any of its varieties particularly if it has a special flavored center. Making the wrapper personal to the couple adds a special touch if you see their names and other details of the wedding printed on it.
Chocolate candy might not be the most elaborate gift even if it does come in a special wrapper but that does not make it any less welcome to hungry guests. These chocolate bars can be simple milk chocolate, dark or white chocolate which are filled with items such as almonds or raisins. A particularly loving touch is for there to be a message from the couple on the candy wrapper in addition to the wedding details.
Just to complete the favor, why not have the picture of the bride and groom printed on the wrapper as well? Other edible wedding favors can come in the form of small pieces of candy in tins. There is also typically the option of personalizing the tin by including the wedding date and the name of the bride and the groom. These tins are also useful even if the candy has been eaten as they would make great little storage containers. Almost everyone likes candy and that is why such a large percent of weddings feature it as their edible wedding favor.
Then the guests can fill their containers with the candy before they leave the reception later. If you are on the look out for a different edible wedding favor idea then why not try arranging for the guests to have cookies instead of candy. It doesn't matter if the cookie is not decorated because the presentation box you order will be and it will have your names and other wedding details on it.
Plain cookies are also easier to use if you decide to have your images inserted onto them. Cookies can be baked in a variety of shapes so all that needs to be done is to supply a picture for them to imprint. An unusual and more exclusive option for edible wedding favors is to give the guests coffee, cocoa or tea.
There are now many specialty brands which many people would like to try but are often afraid too and as with the other favors, there is no reason not to have special presentation boxes made up for the day. Once again, the packaging can contain information about the bride and groom and if it is a metal or plastic container it can be used at a later stage an will not go to waste. With a little bit of imagination it is surprising how effective even simple ideas can be.
