Many people go and holiday in the Caribbean every year as it is a perfect place for people looking to spend time in the sun and relax. With its multitude of islands, however, it can be difficult to find the perfect spot in this holiday paradise so here is a guide on the various islands and holiday options available to you.
In August, Barbados has a free sports camp that is wonderful for folks travelling with offspring. It has sun, sand and reconciliation for you and amazing things for the kids. You can sign up four children between the ages of nine and seventeen for one to five days. All of the young ones get lessons from trained sports players from the field of cricket, football and netball. The young ones all get to participate in their own age groups, and with a focus on enjoyment, this is an amazing place for the kids to spend their summer holidays.
Another great option is Havana. Not only will you get to experience Cuba and its atmosphere of revolution and propaganda, you will also get to enjoy the sun. You can look at monuments of Castro, Jose Marti, in addition to go to the Plaza de la Revolution which is a great place to go and soak in the culture. Aside from this, the city also has great museums.
Antigua has some great spa hotels all of which offer very luxurious places to stay in the Caribbean. They not only have great massages and services, but likewise have pools and great beaches. You can either take in a sensual massage by some of the best massage therapist right on the bay or you can take in a caviar and pearl facial.
Jamaica is known for its beauty, beaches and fun times. You can see more than just this if you go through the island's history and visit the places where the last pirate executions took place. Rose Hall is the home of the infamous Annie Palmer. She was immortalised in a Johnny Cash song, and you can visit her home and feel the mystery that is her background in voodoo and the story of her and her three husbands, in addition to the murder of her slaves.
It is believed the house is haunted by her ghost. Visitors to her home say they hear voices, footsteps and music in addition to the cry of babies. This is definitely a side of the Caribbean you didn't know about.
An additional amusing thing to do is to go diving in the Bahamas and experience the world of sharks up close and personal. The Bahamas are one of the most striking places around the globe, and you can see some of their sub aqua loveliness by taking in the silent murderers that are the sharks.
All of the islands are astounding and present never-ending prospects for you to indulge in pure sumptuousness and enjoy yourself while on your seashore trip this year. The Caribbean is positively the spot to have time off.
